To all of you budding bear artists (and those of you who have thought about making your very own bear but not sure how to start), Tracey from Sew What And Stuff It will once again be taking over The Bear Emporium 27/4/13 from 10am til 3pm. Bringing with her a wonderful range of mohair and alpaca fabrics, paw pad materials, patterns, glass eyes, cotter pin joints and all the tools of the trade, for you to create your own special bear. Tracey of Twilight Teds and ouselves will be happy to advise and answer any questions that you have on bear making techniques. You can also place a commission for a special bear and choose your fabric for us to make. A new delivery from Charlie Bears has brought the following bears into stock. Rocky, Eden, Mulberry, Wotsit, Paris, Jayden, Elderberry, Rula, Clover rabbit, as well as Beaumaris and Peveril from the new Bearhouse collection. A new delivery of Charlie Bears have arrived and include Blackberry Crumble, Bruce,Dibley, Inca, Hampton from the Bearhouse collection, Isabelle collection Comet and from the minimo collection Turvy and Pancake. Another delivery from Charlie Bears has arrived with some newly born bears from the plush Part 1 collection. The include Blaine, Monium, Harewood and Pembroke. Happy New Year! It is quite a while since we last entered a blog and we intend to now keep you updated whenever we receive any new deliveries, starting from today, so here goes. We have had a delivery of some long awaited little Charlie Bear friends today. Angela, Caleb, Dally, Dilly, Ellie, Goldust, Heath, Jayden, Libby, Paddywack, Parkin, Phoenix, Quentin, Ridley and Trixie are now back in stock, settling in and eagerly waiting to be adopted but some of them won't be around for very long! - NEW STEIFF BEARS ARRIVE! Our new 2012 Ltd Edt bears from Steiff have been arriving over the last few weeks. The UK 2012 Collector bear is now in stock as well as Soo, who is now sitting with Sooty and the beautiful 2012 Titanic Commemorative bear. All come with their numbered certificates and boxes. At last our broaband connection has stayed connected long enough for us to add the new 2012 collections from Charlie Bears to the website! Have a look at the 'Show Specials' for which we are lucky enough to be one of the stockists of this fantastic Limited Edition collection. The Bag and Travel Buddies are just waiting to go with you on their travels and there are four beautiful new colours to add to the My First Charlie Bear collection. The charlie Bear 2012 Part 1 plush collection is abolutely wonderful. It includes the fabulous William V but unfortunately he will be the last William in the series. Tracey of Sew What And Stuff It will be coming to The Bear Emporium on Saturday 21st April and also Saturday 13th October, bringing a large selection of mohair, alpaca and everything you need to make your very own teddy bear. Come along and see the selection of colours, textures and finishes that can make all the difference when you are creating your special freind. From kits, paw pad fabrics, fillings, glass eyes, cotter pin joints and all the tools of the trade. Commissions can be taken on the day from us or Tracey but you can choose the fabric to create your own unique bear. We now know that our special Charlie bear for the Great British Bear Trail Will be called 'SOVEREIGN' and will be priced at £39.99. As yet we don't have a picture. The bears look forward to their outings so hope to see you out and about at a fair near you (as long as they are not travel sick on the way!).
